The Most Anticipated MMORPG Games in 2023… Brand New MMOs!
It’s time to party up and rally around the banner of massively multiplayer games! Welcome to my 15 Upcoming PC MMORPG Games in 2023 and 2024 list that I make just for you! We tend to get 1 good MMORPG a year, but the genre is a really rough landscape, with many games overpromising, staying in development for over a decade, or just games that don’t seem to have potential. Because of how this genre has been, I’m being stricter with how many and which games I’m including this year and I’m just going to talk about 15 which I think have a chance and that I haven’t listed for years on years. I do mention some of the long-term developments in the bonus section though. Runescape or olschool runescape i have played on and off since i was like 9 or so im 26 now so over 15+ years
In regards to Riot – nah, we know that it’s in production – it was announced and discussed by the officials and not only that, they confirmed that it will most definitely launch because money for them is not an issue. We also know that it will be free to play (not even buy to play), with a similar business model to Riots biggest game, League of Legends – so essentially, an ingame cash shop with skins and no pay to win aspects to it.
Quite a lot more has been told during the one hour long interview with a few things mentioned, that were later on cut out of the video (Riot asked to remove it, since the information was not supposed to get out yet).
Very interested in Palia and Hytale but also I’ve heard talk of people reviving WildStar, and I think the first location is up already. Now that was a good game! I’ve been playing MMORPG since 2008 and I am a fan. The first was WoW and I had to learn english to play it) alsmost got kicked out of college on my second year bc we were so into it with my friends but time difference meant all the cool stuff was happening early in the morning for us. Did it stop us? No. Did we go have fun with guilds? Yes.
Bc obviously Ashes of Creation costs like an arm and a leg (which I am so excited about I am vibrating as a type this comment), and old timers like Neverwinter or LotrO don’t really need anything new.
im almost done with expecting any good mmo sandbox open world games..just not gona happen..todays devs are a complete joke..all of em

Im looking a game that open worls and have a pk system in every map so that is really exited to be explore and also the best graphics 😊
Great list 🙂 I’ve got a few new games to add to my list. The longest I’ve played an MMORPG for is 2 year (Elder Scrolls Online), I’m not bored yet but it’ll probably happen eventually. The quests are often very bland and linear.
It was shady of the Untamed Isles developers to list it on Steam, when Steam specifically bans crypto games and those involved with NFTs.
